Battle For A Cure: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Enlists Wild Honey For Benefit at Summerour Studio

I really enjoy playing with this group.  It's tight and loose all at the same time, which can make for some excellent rock performances.  James "Jay Tee" Terry is up front on lead vocals, along with Randy Sadd & Val Garris on guitars and Keith Huddleston on drums.  Most often they have a female vocalist as well, but this time they didn't.  However, we were joined by a girl who sat in on a blues tune and something else.  It was wild (hence the name) and loud.  Keith is a hard hitter and sets the tone for no-nonsense rock and roll.  He is unbelievably rock solid and a pleasure to keep up with.  I favored my Precision and it did not fail me on this outing.  I think we were a bit too much for the first half of the night.  The plug was pulled before the set was over.  The second set proved to find us in our element.  With the open bar serving beer and wine, the crowd was ready to party after the serious business of silent auctions and supreme noshing were complete.  The food was out of this world, by the way.  We made the most of our break.  The whole event was sponsored by Rock 100.5 so it was a class act till the very end.
