The Batts of Winter

February was a continuation of severe winter conditions for the big ATL.  We had the entire country commenting on our wintery driving situation after the "snowpocalypse" episode that left us stranded on the highways for hours and even days.  Hard to believe it happened, but it did.  Billy Batts came around to bring some relief to the club members once again, after the salt had cleared.  The new furniture arrangement and no grand piano certainly make for a more cozy stage for us.  Mark set up his mobile recording unit, but I don't think we were able to capture anything.  We hadn't planned anything new, so it was really more of the same.  Not bad though.  As you may see, we had a small troop out on the dance floor for a couple of swinging numbers.  I think we dusted off Norwegian Wood.

The long day began earlier at the surgery center next to CHOA.  Spencer had his procedure regarding his family jewels.  All went well, but the escort into the operating room went as you might expect.  I'm always the one to take him - his third time receiving anesthesia.  He was very brave in retrospect.  I'm quite proud actually.  I repeat, all went well.  Self dissolving sutures!  Amazing all around.
